Boosted Falcon

This chick who i work with, her old man has a mint EF XR8 which he is thinkin about getting rid of.. Its Heritage Green, has the FTR's with great tread and has the XR bodykit but not the spoiler.. The paint and the interior is in absolute MINT condish and it only has 75,000kms on the clock- and its manual.. It still has the head light and bonnet protectors on it too.. Everything about this car is completely genuine it gets a good wax once a fortnight and has been used for just a sunday cruiser for years- sits in the garage for the rest of the week.. He has also entered it in a few show n shines and has a few trophies.. What do you think is a good ball park figure that this car is worth??

Id take a rough stab at around 18-20k given the low km's and condition. There still pulling 10-12k at dealers atm.

Well im pretty sure he is willing to sell it for around $11k.. maybe if someone is interested i could forward on details..

$11k absolute max and that is if it is purchased by another enthusiast who is prepared to pay heaps more than its worth for a mint one of which there are 100's of examples of in the country.

yeh I wouldve thought $18-20k is too high.... maybe $10-12 if its in great condition like you say.... Examples are going for upto
$12-13 over here in WA, but we pay more for everything car related....

i was thinking $8000 to $10000 for it. seen some nice Au xr8 for around $13000

I could get a mint AUII-III XR8 Manual for that cash.
Or a pretty decent BA XR6T.
I reckon 10-11 MAX, more likely around the 8k mark.

No way in a million years would I ever pay more than Red book for any car, unless it had the difference in gold bullion in the boot.

I wouldn't pay more than 7-8k if I was looking for one and really wanted one.

I think Pete just had a brain meltdown.......

It'd probably sell for about 10 private,max, or have something like $12,999 put on it in a caryard.
