$65 each???? That is way to cheap.

I'd be seriously concerned about their build quality.

One thing I would never do cheap would be the hub adaptors.

$65 x 4 = $260.... thats the right price, theyre about $250-300 for a set. I was told that both Tempe Tyres and the Tyre Factory do sets for $250.

Yeh you need the 30-34 mm bolt on hub adaptors, the other ones are just spacers. Theyd probably be okay for the rear, but they shorten how much thread the wheel nut has.

He must have for that to happen, the spacer looks on there nice & tight still. Either that or they wern't tightened when they were fitted.

Yes he had the wrong nuts on the adaptor. Theres nothing wrong with hub adaptors, as long as you dont buy cheap and nasty, and fit the right nuts.

Are you guys fecking serious with your replies. It's simple, don't do it! Get the right wheels instead. Wheel spacers are a bad idea. Period!

hey all i did the Spacers. An you know what my front wheel came of. it snaped the studs off cause of the extra weight and stress on them. An i payed $400 for them. Im the same now dont do it. Look for the right wheels. will cost you more in the end..

I'd run spacers in a heartbeat if I needed to. Nothing at all wrong with good quality ones.

In fact my car has done quite a few dyno pulls & many street km's with slip on spacers on the rear.

As someone already mentioned, the bolt on type are factory fitted on some Porches.

You wouldn't find a drift car that doesn't run them, and I reckon they would get a fairly hard life on the track.

Provided they are good quality and properly fitted (same as any suspension component really), they are safe as houses.

87.45% of all problems with hub adaptors are because people buy them without checking what thread pitch the hub adaptor studs use.

Hubs go on the front, you need the full 30-36mm they provide to clear the suspension. Make sure you have the correct nuts on.
spacers (rings) slip over the back studs. Make sure there is plenty of thread for the nuts on the rear though.

There is nowhere near enough stud for a 30mm slip on spacer, front or rear.

You dont need spacers for the rear - the slip on rings are like 5mm, just helps to push the rim out a bit so the back end doesnt look so awkward.
