Hey guys,
Iv made the decision to trade in my old car and buy an e series.
Im looking at ef futura's mainly.
Im planning (just like everyone else here) to mod the car up in every way.
I have recently come across a cheap but nice ef fairmont ghia. I was just wondering if its possible to fit the xr kits (including the lights) to the fairmonts as they have a different bonnet?
Thanks,
Shane

Bonnet would have to be changed to either an EF GLi/Futura or EF/EL XR bonnet with vents.
Body kit will fit on no problems.

Cheers mate.
Also just while im on here.
Would you know an average cost of professionally respraying the whole car to another colour?
The fairmont im looking at is currently white, and im sick of it as my current car is white.
Also is around 200,000 km too much to think of starting to mod, or should i keep an eye out for something around the 150,000?
As you can tell, im new to the falcon scene, sorry if they seem like stupid questions.
Cheers,

spray will depend on quality but i would budget at least 4grand.
also if you got the fairmont leave the xr it of it the fairmont front looks nicer in my opinion.

If the EF Ghia your looking at is a I6, check to see that it is a series 2. That way you will get the EF XR6 engine.

Cheers guys,
The respray idea sounds a little pricey,
I might just take the time and look around a bit more and hopefully something pops up.
But the fairmont has done around 200,000 and hes asking 2200 for it.
Gotta way up my options.
