Hey all just a bit bored and just wondering how fast you have been in your car or your m8s car.
The fastest I’ve been in my EB is about 188 clicks and in my m8s xr8 Ute was about 200 but I don’t think he had his foot down lol

110 because i havent been to any areas where the max speed limit is higher than that (ie northern territory)

in EDGHIA, 200km+ (ED speedos only go that far ) was probaly nudging 210?
220km in my old VY SS. the speedo goes to 260, i was always tempted to see if it could get there

175 in mates calais, was wet though so i didnt wanna push it

180km/h in the EF....got limited had plenty left in it though

Obviously this was all done on a race track

I got the needle on the EA past 200 at Calder, but that would have been at least 10% off due to the diff.

Have had many cars of the clock, fastest in a car was 250 on the speed limiter that was the parent`s crappadore with 350 chev, 6speed. fastest was on my honda cbr 1000 doing 270. and that was a big rush but im to old for that now. plus i live in the city now ,and that was on race tracks of coarse he he. forgot one so i`ll`edit in it was the v8 race experiance at adelaide international, in a ba on the straight hit the limit in fourth then nearly in fith.dunno wat speed but there pretty slow.

Off da clock bro for a EB XR6. The needle was about to hit the dash cluster bottom .

All on my private, multimillion dollar, fully secure racetrack where ambos were on alert if i was to develope a problem.

had the EB out past the clockd to 199 (digital dash) in 5th at 5500 on the nitrous racin an XR6T
my XT with a 302 clocked next to a type-r integra, im assuming 180kph, as my dash onli went to 120mph an i think integras have limiters
an then with the 351 took it to 220 next to a VX clubby
70k on a 12speed racer cumn down hallam rd (clockd by the cops in a 60zone)
an me and a mate had a 260kmh dash clockd in a HSV enhanced VN Clubsport (im not guna go into this story as i feel it will jus be throwin fuel on my alredy brightly burning fire)
altho i will say...we managed to go from Punt Rd in the City to Pound Rd in Hampton park (1 exit past princes hwy on the M20) in 7minz

I've done 50 downhill on a racer, mountain bikes are heaps slower and less stable.

When my ED got to 180'ks it cut off, I shat myself thinking what have I done to my car? It was'nt till later I was told it does that in the auto's! (phew)

I'm guessing they are called limiter's? If so are they in the engine or computer?

Are they in all e-series autos or manuals too?
