Hey everyone we are just about introduce a new air intake system for those that would like to get rid of there state of the art ford air box. IF people can remember my original airbox it is a offshoot of that . THis is due to be finished in the couple of weeks.

See below pics of some of the testing we have been doing in some of the cars.
THese two pics below are the first Prototype

The ones below is the final Moulding of the air box. Not there is area for both the EA-ED side induction as well as a EF EL top induction for the BBM. Note these will also accommodate the v8 models as well .

They look great!

I've got a question:

EA-ED dashes, the bit that has the vents, trip computer, demist button, etc... There's that weird useless cavity there. Would you be able to fab up some kind of mould/surround for that so that a single gauge could slot into there?

^that is a good idea
who exactly is selling these? you or a company?
do you simply just cut where you would like a hole or do they come with holes for specific models? (eb/ed-ef/el)

Hi guys Im the silly bastard that makes them, The air box is vac formed over a wood and plastic filler pattern which is a proto type. This pattern is used until the object or in this case the air box is to a stage were Im happy with it, Then I can go ahead and get an aluminum die made which brings the dollars into the equation. The air box is made from ABS plastic which is very durable, resists cracking and will take temp around 100 C, the plastic is 4.5 mm thick. Later on I will make on request clear air boxes with a blue neon light inside for who want to show the boys under there bonnet at knight. These air boxes are made in conjunction with my work Acron Plastics.
Thanks for your interest.
Bri Bri. ;)

Would it be worth wild if u also done a snorkel in conjunction with this airbox for E series, reason i say this as a few people have lpg and becuz of some lpg system designs they restrict air so getting as much through the airbox and a snorkel would be awsome.

Also there are a few big engine V8 E series builds on ford forums which would like this airbox and these guys are cutting there airboxes up and so on so maybe u should post this there and also look into a snorkel as these engines need as much air as possible.

Another idea would be to dyno these especially the Ba onwards stuff as u have a few competitors and show what sort of difference gains in ur product to get some product confidence with ur gear.

MAte you get more air from behind the light then you do with a standard air box and a snorkel . It covers a big area and works well, There has been over 2 years of research and tryong to get these running perfect. This unit will not be changing from what it is.
I had a unit on my car for almost 2 years b4 going to throttle bodies on the ea.

Mate two big e series v8 builds on ford forums already have these or ones that were made simialr.

There has been over 120 sold of the Ba ones on ford forums ford mods and xr6turbo website mate.
There is enough good feedback for them not to btoher about trying to do dyno runs with and with out.

Thanks
Scott
