VSS 11/08/2007 Feedback thread..

Postby Sunboost » August 13th, 2007, 10:58 am

Hey all,

Surprised to see no thread on this one over here as yet.

Was a mint cruise, the best I've been on in a while even though the weather was disappointing. Good on Nick and the VSS team for taking previous criticisms on board and organising the meet points a bit better this time.

I got a mint long drive of Rips' Olds' BF Fairlane Ghia. Was awesome to cruise in and drive, got plenty of looks all night - including some from the coppers who thought we were probably dealers or something lol.

Ash also made me an offer I couldn't refuse after I hopped out of the driver's seat of the BF, a drive of his BA!! Was really good have a good drive of that as well lol.

Thanks to Rips and Ash for making my night mint!

Yeah, AAA+ cruise, would go on again.
One day I'll actually drive to one of these, instead of being a pisshead.
Props to a good turn out from the bseries club as well, hi to the bloke that asked if we were E-Series, we'll have a better chat next time.

hmm i must be the only one who though it was a bit crap. bit ohh well.
we left after the second meet point only bn there a very short while and went to meet beth and gang but they had already left so we went home.

i think you guys should organise a cruise because i just seem to like the smaller cruises better. better ppl = more fun and enjoyable

Hmmm was a very wet night turnout was awsome considering that, I just went to greensborough and then headed home. LOL was on the top level of the carpark at the second meet point at it was like fast and the furious style "Weve got COPS COPS COPS" after the drag scene. All these tools come runining and jump in their commonwhores drive off but get as far as the ramp ahh was amusing I just waited for every one to leave then drove out.

We only went to the first meet point, went to the city for photos. Was good checking out some hot cars. A bugger for the weather, next time I will be a little more prepared!! Overall I had a good time catching up with all those who were there.

was a sick cruise, best iv been on in a while, i was hesitant of being out there with the XR but non the less had fun and had stax of fun

best feat of the night was the "chapel-street-like-under-cover-scrapping-speed-hump-drive" watching all these low cars scrap on this monster speed hump, it was under cover so everyone was watching, basicly if you went over it and didnt scrap you were booed and bashed...

last meet was good fun too, fat man + small car = crazy idiot drifter :P the dude was a nutt

looking foward to the next one now!!!

Home HQ will be too small soon, large numbers attending will make it hard for the cruise planners to find car parks that suit such large numbers with easy access and lighting etc...

was alright turn out, i only stayed for the first meet point as id been on the road since 630 and had been to bendigo and back that day, was good to pickup my new rims off cmywpn and then i had to go as it was too cold and wet for the tiredness of everyone in my car, we ended up at baysie maccas for some hot chocolate then home to bed

Postby blackout » August 13th, 2007, 8:54 pm

Wasn't a bad cruise... I had FAKEID at Mitcham for a bit but decided to take it home.. Something about injected 5l with a 2500rpm stally and a mini spool with no window demisters in the wet just doesn't seem right... Had a ball on the way home from Mitcham to Mooroolbark though, even ORSMEB can confirm it har har :D

Didnt make it to Greensborough as we got a tip off about all the cops and was in FordGirl's bf's XT so didn't wanna risk it... Headed to Gladstone Park was alright didn't really like how one cop rolls in and everyone gets scared...

Wasn't overly eventful... I'm no longer VSS staff so don't have anything to do with running it.. but yeah, summer will be big for VSS. I still do believe HomeHQ wont be enough

This was the first one I hadnt been due to people saying it was invaded by cops so I didnt bother going. I will be at the next one tho. Was their cops at the points or just after the Commowhores were draging?

[zomg]Cops everywhere, it was like D-Day, except instead of soldiers, it was cops.
They were just shooting defect stickers at cars like crazy.
I saw one guy lose an arm.
And the "commowhores", it was horrible, so many skidz, so many tyres screaming for mercy, and the children, and the blood, it was horrible, just horrible.[/zomg]

Its a massive farken cruise, cops are gonna roll along to see WTF is going on.
Can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

cops were only a problem in greensborough , we were in a undercover/multi level carpart complex and they turned up from every direction to clear us out of there , they didnt pull anyone over tho . dont know why everyone sooks about the cops anyways if your not doing anything stupid and bringing attention to yourself then why worry there are always going to be other twats there asking for the attention.
