3dstudio max is licenced software.
to get it you'd need to buy it or pirate it.

There are alternatives that are free.

zmodeler is used for games and is free
anim8or is free, havnt used it.

the only issue is its generally only the larger expensive software that has some decent tutorials/help around.
saying that though, the general theory is the same.

test with some wheels, not sure if the tyres are the right size but it was just to see what it'd look like :)
Not happy with the rear, looks a bit too squared off.
will try and tweak it a bit.

I think if the section between above the bar were sloped in at the bottom a bit more, and the section below the boot and taillights was slightly concaved, it'd help a bit.

Do you have a pic of the boot/rear bumper, looking almost straight down onto it to compare? I think the bumper is more rounded, like someone heated it and pulled from the middle. I think the front needs the same done to it, to a lesser extent. The grille kinda looks too narrow from the pics as well.

Certainly not picking on it though! The section around the rear door/wheel arch looks sick, I thought that would be really hard to get right. When is it getting an intercooler? :D

I agree with a majority of what you're saying.
the car does need to be wider.. easy fixed :P

front does need a little bit of work, just the overall shape is a little off.
rear needs a bit more rounding here and there.
will see how it goes.
happy with how it is so far :D
