Saturday morning:

^^^ Surprise Breakfast :P

Friday night involved Steve's bottle of Jager disappearing in about 15 minutes! The campfire was a reasonable size, with about 12 of us sitting around it, discussing high-brow topics such as Kester's $20-in-20-seconds mass interrogation barrage from the rest of us. He didn't get the $20, but I'm pretty sure he'd turn gay for Amon. Or Bomber.

Saturday morning started with early-riser knts air-horning the late risers. BWAAAAAAHHH

We had a leisurely brekky & then split up for a bit, some people going to Heyfield, others down to the lake ( :D ), & others just hanging around the campsite.

Anyway, that's it for this post, I'll post up the Licola cruise pics once they're uploaded.

Meh, I still haven't gone home!

It was an awesome weekend. It was interesting that it rained on the way down, then there was some rain here (Maffra) after everyone had headed back but it held off in between. The campfire was good, although everything around it was blown up / damaged in some way. The drive up to Licola was fun too. The nights were a bit on the cold side but that's camping for you. Besides a few issues with the car on Friday (I fitted a new power steering belt, and it hasn't looked like throwing it yet, so that's a positive, but the alternator light one is a bit of a worry), it seemed to behave itself for the rest of the weekend. The bonnet up at Licola was more precautionary; there wasn't actually anything really wrong with it then. Glenmaggie camps are the best e-series events by far in my opinion. Well done to Steve for the organising.

Dezza - well you definitely sounded like you were "keeping yourself warm" Saturday morning :| Similar noises from Mark & Scott's tent! There must have been much warmth made...

Kester I'll have to send your Licola-Jamieson rd run video through msn, it's too big to put on photobucket :(

Explosion video is AWESOME on the laptop! The stuffed toy vid (refer to pics in my previous post) isn't bad but the other one is R I G H T E O U S! The boom from the log blowing apart is kind of muffled, like a cartoon explosion or something. Also I've got some other vids which I'll upload later too ;) ;)

Pity no-one took a photo of the knobba's undercut at Pizza Hut, he looked like Barney off Viva Rock Vegas (yes, I admit I've watched that s-h-i-t-h-o-u-s-e excuse for a movie)

I havent got that many photos, will post them up when I get back to mine.
Had an absolute ball, just amusing some of the random shit that goes on when we get down there.
Fire explosions are always good, and dirt drifting is a good way to fill the time although the locals dont think so :(
Dezzas moaning in the tent this morning raised a few eyebrows, lol!!
Cruise to Licola I took easy as the views were pretty good, and the suicidal sheep were hilarious :P
Will need a new tent for next year as the one I have now has holes and chunks of burnt wood stuck to it after so many explosions, haha!!
Thanks to Steve for organising the event and thanks to all those who came and made the weekend as great as it was :)
Bring on GM09!!

Well it was another great weekend, Big thanks to Steve for organising the weekend. I guess you never get rid of the firebug everyone was getting into putting flammable/explosive things in the fire "everyone relaxed" was the term used wehn about drop a aerosol can in the fire and then watch everyone bail from their seats. The trip to Licola on saturday i think was my highlight best driving road ever and the way back was a heap of fun after getting past the 4Wd holding the group up on the way back to camp. Wagons are so easy to take camping and packin up was easy as.

Heres are some pics on the way down to Glenmaggie

Looked mad cruising along with so many slammed cars :) Full boots FTW :P
Coming home was pretty amusing, confusing everyone with the whole group using the opposite indicators for lane changes :P
