im selling my old car, and just wondering its out of reg and out of the 3 months, so would it have to go through vicroads for rego renewall? or could i just get a roady. if just roady would it have to be regoed in sam name or could it be re regoes in new name?

if your registration has expired you have 3 months to re register it without needing a roadworthy certificate.

If it has been more then 3 months then you have to get a RWC to re register in any name , if you get a roadworthy certificate and sell it the person that buys it has to have a letter writen saying that you sold the vehicle unregistered to them for $$ and then both of you have to sign it .

Just sell it unregoed, leave the hassle to some other kunt.

Sell it cheaper with no reg or RWC. I dont see the point in spending $600 for reg + whatever it costs to get it RWC just to sell it.

sorry for my spelling or if i didnt get the point across properly. im selling no reg or RWC not trying to rego it in my name or anything, just atm im dealing with some kunt who knows **** all and i can barely understand him. and i get the feeling he will take it and then get the RWC check done and it come back with heaps of shit and then he come back to me and be pissed off etc etc
