I know a lot of you dont know what this is but I need some advice
What soap do you use to get grease and other automotive fun off your hands?
I have silastic residue on my hands and I cant get rid of it. I tried the usual "lightning" soap from repco in an orange flavour and metholated spirits and turpentine but the black marks wont budge.
Im an accountant during the week so its not a good look. :S

Fast orange is good stuff and generally easy to get or there is cleaner called SOLOPOL and it will remove everything but a little hard to get hold of.

As soon as I finished using silastic I put degreaser and kero on my hands and used a steel scourer softly.
I hate manky arse stains on my hands and nails make you look like a grubby low kunt.

Thought this was gonna be a Fight Club thread of some sort.
Use Solvol. Stuff like turpentine and methylated spirits will just fvck your skin (then you rub your eyes, bite your nails, jerk off and you're up the creek)..

i have in the past had to use petrol or prepsol, both will remove silastic / paint easily but you have to wash up well with regular soap after

yeh petrol will get everything off then you need to use something like Lightning orange to get the petrol off. John, nothing gets dried fibreglass resin off, it just wears off with time. Acetone will get it off if it's still wet though.

Acetone! Even when its dying, use acetone and a pumice stone...works good.
Or just sand it off
