Question about EB dates.

hello folks,
Just been wondering what was the month the first EB XR6's were produced. Mine is a September build and I don't really know where abouts it fits in with the XR6 production run (although it was before the SmRtlock update).

Yours is pretty early - I'm not sure when the XR6s started, but I'm pretty sure smartlock became available in about the second week of october, or close to - my old EB XR6 was a pre-smartlock 10/92.

A little be of googling has found the MOTOR magazine where they originally tested it- "MOTOR OCTOBER 1992".
You can just make out XR6 in the bottom LHS.

i think the s-xr6 came out in october 92. They came out stock with ABS, LSD, Smartlock & Momo wheel.

Released from Ford on the 22nd September 1992. Released from Tickford on the 16th October. Sold during August 1993! My Xr6 was a demo hack/ nobody wanted it
