Doesnt really save water thou does it. Think of how much water is used to make it. Then think of the water thats used in the various industrys to package it, transport it, dispose of it.
But It works well Iv got a box of the shit. So lucky im not a greeny

The problem with waterless washing is the car has to be fairly clean to begin with (water marks basically), otherwise you'll either use 11ty washing sponges/rags or scratch the shit out of your paintwork. And it takes aaaaggggeeeesssssssss.
Does every other state have a Govt. rebate for rainwater tanks, or is it only SA? Using rainwater out the front to wash your car is great, it gets grumpy old neighbours with nothing better to do fired up.
You can buy decent guerneys for under $200 that can run on straight off the rainwater tank these days.

We've got a rebate in Queensland, but it's a farken long wait to get a tank installed.
I use waterless, but I also use a body duster first, so even if it's fairly dirty most of the shit comes off with that. Hasn't appeared to leave any scratches (my paint was full of tiny ones already though, so I could be wrong).

yes we get the rebate, lol at home we have a water tank, we would go out 4wding come back with a muddy as **** ute and spend about 2-3 hours cleaning within the 3 hours we would have some poor bloke from the shire come out and inspect it to make sure it is coming from a tank, aswell as randoms stopping to give us there 2c, and we have in clear veiw a sign that says "tank water in use". fucking clown shoes.

Haha
There's no way I'd use it on my car. I can't see how it wouldn't cause swirls by rubbing a cloth over dust and dirt.

Just watched the video. Looks impressive. If I got it I'd still use the duster first, but it's pretty exxy ($40).

So it's really good for washing your car if your car isn't dirty?

I'm not a fan, i can't justify $50 for 2 cans or whatever it is, when for $50 i can have 10 very thorough cleans at hallam car wash, or just rinse it when it gets dusty for $2.

Ive havent washed my car with water in months... Im using the meguiars waterless set, with the new NXT
tech wax 2.0.... It takes SFA time, and looks fuckin sweet... even when it rains, the water doesnt settle
and bead- it just keeps a deep shine.... they're really great products
No I dont in any way, shape or form work for meguiars

Same here, Im a bit skeptical with the stuff...if you have dirt on your car...and you wipe it with any chemical your going to get swirl makes.
can anyone prove me wrong? how does it not cause swirl marks?

Dude, the beading is good. The tighter and smaller the beads, the better.

ive used something similiar on my car, and they cant really call it waterless, because it says on the can to use a wet cloth to wipe away bird shit, and any clumps of dirt before using the product, it takes for eva to use this stuff but if you do it right there will be no swirls and it will look F"N mint once your done

Some chick followed me in the shopping centre car park til i got out of my car to try sell it to me.
You cant use it on mud because it might have stones in it which will scratch the car so not really saving much water, can only clean the top half of your car pretty much which takes a min/$1 at the car wash. Less work and scratch free!

Is this waterless car cleaning silcone based? Cause I know for a fact panel beaters and spray painters hate cars that have been cleaned with a silcone based product.
