Thats a pretty sad sight, it would definetly be worth restoring but how you would go about replacing the roof i don't know.

jeez. its a long way off. personally i would let that one go. sad to see one of the best cars of its time in that condition. it will never be a proper gt ever again. with all components that make it a gt missing (motor, box, computer, ect.) i would look it as a xr6 at best.

sad to see

I'm not quite up to speed on what EB GT's are worth these days (is it still in the 20's or 30's?). It would cost an absolute fortune to find everything you'd need to get it back up to GT spec, let alone actually fix the thing.

Forum whore it Sunny, do it, do it now!

Fixable. Budget $2k-$3k in labour to put a new roof skin & rear quarters on it. Plus whatever the panels cost, add paint and a driveline probably still well out in front. Assuming you get $25k'ish for it.

yea, alot of work, but it would be damn rewarding in the end to see the finished product. you could only do it if you had $$$ to throw at it and do it properly. build a sik 5.0L

I just spent a decent amont of time repairing my damaged XF, it needed a rear end swap and gave me plenty to do. That thing is kinda roooted. Old mate says he's selling due to health reasons, i think he should have sad, "I'm (sick from) having this bucket of crap in my shed".

I agree with not going down the path of buying it.Engine is the heart and orginal engine is a selling point.Plus unless you are a panel beater or spray painter by trade its alot of time and effort for the un trained.

Looks like way to much work. In the end it would be fantastic to finish it but it would cost a fortune.
