Boosted Falcon

Well the time finally came and i found what i have been looking for on carsales. Went and test drove it and put a deposit down and hopefully picking it up next Saturday if the RW and RACV test all goes to plan...

Its a BA XR6 Turbo in Blueprint 12/03 build with sunroof, full electrics, leather interia and premo sound!

Its got some nice 18's on it which are very different to what i have even seen on any falcon, but they suit it nicely. Its already lowered and sits pretty even.

Plans are to de spoiler and de badge the car, as well as build a custom pod box for dose'time!

Ahhh nice. Just a little word of advice, get the diff bush changed in it. They are known for busting all the time.

try find out if it has already been done, alot got done under warranty. also ask about upper outter control arm bushes as these are more comon in the sedans (territories hate diff bushes)

Yep, autobahn specials lol haha, there a mint wheel i wanted some for the EF.

Get some more pics and info on it, judging by that pic it aint a factory cooler..

Get some more pics and info on it, judging by that pic it aint a factory cooler..

The guy at the car yard knows not much about its history, its got HPF stickers on the back window which makes me think its been in for some work there. I have emaild HPF to see if they have records about the car, cause it comes with the flash tuner and seemed very quick during the test drive..

It also has a full ford service history stamped in the book which was a bonus as well

Looks nice.

Like others said, the rims certainly look like the Herrod ones. They're the same ones that they used on the DJR 320 BAs.

I think they are copies of the Herrod wheels because by the looks of things the real ones were 19's and these are only 18's

125,000 which isnt too bad considering the age

I found a XR8 bonnet i want to buy with the buldge allready sprayed which is a bonus!

Our cars are too alike now mate lol

Yeah its a genuine XR8 bonnet, the auction doesnt end for a few days so ill just watch it till the end

There's an aftermarket cooler on it too if you haven't noticed man.

Nice pick up. Don't put the CRANRS plates on! They look a bit ghey

Couldn't agree more.. Get it tuned properly ASAP if it has been to HPF,

Great car mate those rims are great as well they are BBS CH copies i would say if they don't have BBS centre caps.

looks pretty tidy man. They seem to be PDW wheels. Wheelmags offered them for sale back when they were with aff. Needs to be lowered. Get a professinal to lower the front as normal spring compressors dont fit

What?? To get the front any lower you will need to compress them??? and they will fit... hmm??

the only thing u need professional for is to put standard springs BACK in, dont need them to take em out, stand on spring and undo top shock bolt and hilarity ensues.
especially if u aim the spring at a 45* angle upwards and have something fragile in its path of destruction!
