got bored and went a bit nuts with the angle grinder this afternoon.
It's not quite finished yet, needs a bit of bog and some sanding and to add the flutes back on, but should look good once it's done.
If there is enough interest, I will look at making some more.

the good thing about this design is it's a '4 piece' bonnet. It fits perfectly in a VS commodore along with my 'modified' 7 piece front bar, and there's still plenty of room for the esky.

Its the new Meccano XR bonnet and front kit....self tappers and sikaflex then a light buff for that full custom finish

It was a hypothetical mate down the road - everytime someone on AFF had bullshit ideas like custom bonnets everyone wanted one and "one for a mate" but it will be a while till he has the cash.
