me n kester were out n about last night on princes highway spotted this neat wagon, told him to pull into warrigul road shell....



kind of hard to make it out due to the shit light and my phone not having a good flash.... but yeh

basically he bought it like that but everything came out of a smashed ute... has xr front seats cluster icc trims etc etc, also had xr6t motor and gearbox and id say diff aswell (but forgot to ask)
also running vapour injection gas with one of them donut style tanks under the car....

only thing that gave it away was the cooler hanging out the ba 1/2 gt/f6 front bar.... wasnt loud no loud bov or dose or anything would be the ultimate sleeper...!
demolished kesters car so would quite easily put away a stock ba turbo (smashed us by alot more than marks was lol)

thats pretty sweet, looks good too, and on gas even better

im pretty sure this was on carsales not all that long ago, looks pretty good

we told him to put a conoe or matress on the roof to make it even more of a sleeper

Yeah the wagon is owned by one of my good mates. One of the quickest wagons i've been in. Last time we had a run we were right next to each other till he had a problem with boost cut and he just dropped back. That's fixed now but havent had a chance to have a run. He pokes his head in around here every now and then. I'll chuck up some photo's when i get home on monday. Its an awsome car.

We saw that going home from a mini meet, Pat and Beth were hanging out the window asking him to dose it. He didnt know wtf was going on?

Yeah he's pretty new to the turbo world. Unfortunately it doesnt dose yet as well. Though shortly it will.

Hopefully he will be coming to one of the next meets with me.

That's horn. The piece above the grill blacked out makes it look a bit more tuff IMO.

that thing looks insane, i work at ford in camberfeild and i have said to some of the boys here that they should make an xr wagon

agree with ford bringing out a xr wagon again. dont know why they stopped. it gave holden a chance to bring something out. they need something to compete with the VX Sportswagon.

just revisited this. nice car but the blue one is a better looker with the XR wheels and lower. also only just noticed its also on injected lpg

yeah i agree that Fraud dropped the ball by not re-releasing the XR wags coz Holden got thier foot in the door then slammed it behind them with the SS wagons

the look like a stagea.... (skyline estate , sort of !) stock 2.5 turbo, 4x4 engine good for circa 500 bhp stock...)

i was a bees dick away from buying a stagea before i found the XR wagon. Insane drive, absolutley incredible car to drive. but finding mechanics that know how to service it well is very hard. that, and to get an after market headlight for it (if its smashed) is about $750.
