EOI: True Blue Drag Competition 25/1/09

Hi guys,
A few of us guys are going to this on Sunday and thought I would post it up for others to see that may be interested in going and have not yet known about it.
It should be a great day out and the weather at this stage is going to be sunny so it should go ahead.
The event is all day and isn't open to street cars to enter. ONLY SPECTATORS!!!
Competitors racing are broken down into the following classes.

Top Door Slammer - Heads up
Pro Street Blown - Heads up
Pro Street Unblown - Heads up
Modified Street Blown - Heads up
Modified Street Unblown - Heads up
True Street - Heads up
All Comers / Super Sedan - DYO
Modified Bike - DYO

DATE: Sunday 25th January
Gates Open: 8:30 am - Late
Entry Price: 16 years and over $35-
Children 15 and under are FREE

If anyone is interest and wanting a pre-meet then that can be arranged too

we're planning on getting along to it along as the weather isnt too hot.
along with the free entry pass from the trading post :P

Yes there is Kristy in the Events section called Calder Doorslammer free pass.
This is in more detail than that one outlining they key points where as the other thread is stating that there is a free pass in the trading post

wouldnt you just add that to the thread that is already started.
then all the info would be in one place .

just had a look at the entry list on the calder web site....... :) there's a heap of car's in the "all comers" bracket that are very quick! & that's on top of the d/slammer's & pro street.

should be a top day, looking to get there early to see qually.

is it just me ? or seeing d/slammer's only run an 1/8th mile & button off on a 1/4 mile track a little nqr ?
i know there running to a new usa format but????

brett stevens was one of a couple of big name's doing tuning dutie's instead of driving.

just before i got there there was a crash of some sort, acouple of pic's from there garage,
it looked like a purple centura (could'nt see past the crowd) but both left hand wheel's are
trash...along with the wheelie bar!
