Falcon Builder/Eseries Mod V3

Some of you would have been aware of the E-Series Mod flash application i developed a few years ago.
screen captures from it ended up on a number of forums :P

for those who arn't aware: here is V1
EseriesMod.swf

This was V2 that was never completed due to time constraints
EseriesModv2.swf

aaaaand this is V3 in its very early stages.
FalconBuilder/

(scroll wheel to zoom, click to rotate)
only an EF body is available currently, with lots of work to be done.
It defaults to EA-ED, however that is unavailable, so Change to EF/EL to make it work properly.

i'm hoping to actually finish this one :P

hmm.. weird, i've tried it in a few browsers.
will likely need a newish version of Flash if you don't have it :P

not much to play with so far :P
just an EF body, fairmont bonnet, fairmont front bar and stock rear bar.
you can change the colour though!

thankfully, unlike the last versions, i've made it much easier to add new parts.
once the 3d model is made and positioned, its only 1 line of code that i need to add :D

seems to be some rendering issues in the software i'm using which is making some aspects quite annoying.
i can solve them but it becomes so slow and near on impossible to use.
but i'll persevere! :P

Its Flash/Flex/Actionscript 3 with Papervision 3D.
the program itself isnt so much the issue, although there are some limitations when it comes to rendering.
intersecting objects display weird, you can resolve it, but the frame rate ends up being dismal.
being software rendered 3d you've gotta be careful when it comes to CPU grunt/amount of poly's

gotta make lots of 3d models :P

its pretty easy to pickup though!

Uploaded new version, Wheels are functional now.
can be changed in size (still only 1 test wheel available)

not 100% happy with the rending in some spots (poly's show through parts)

almost at a point where it just need to dump parts in.

There is a dark grey in there.
Also, if you know colour codes you can type one into the part at the top of the colour picker.
