I don't know much about the differences with superchargers and turbo piping but if you were to get the car, wouldn't it be easier to simply bolt a supercharger on it seeing as the piping is already set up?

its $5k he is giving me.
the car is fully engineered bar the turbo odviously.
the cooler piping sits right where the turbo would be so it'd go straight on.
its been rebuilt since the supercharger was takin off as the supercharger killed the old motor.
good to get some more oppinions as everyone else is telling me to do it but im a bit hesitant.
ill just be selling it on anyway.

About 3 people are going to want to buy a 20+ year old car with airbags and gay airbrushing. 2 of them will be 16 and will call you back when their parents decide to lend them money. The other will live in Nigeria.

VL's are worth less than your standard EA these days. If it was a clean mildly modified original turbo it might sell for decent money but its a slapper NA with ugly paint and airbags.

Definitely dont do it.

OMG, don't buy a car thats been thrashed!

I would want more cash for a NA, I mean apart from the paint and the bags there's not much in it.
Airbrushing ain't worth shit in the long run, it's too much of a personal thing when it's like that.
In closing, if it was original turbo, yes.
NA, no.

Actually I'd probably get it so I had a nipple on my car, that has long term comedic value that you just can't put a dollar symbol on.

yup thats what i was getting at... i personally quite like the vl, but its not worth a knob of goatshit the way it is...

and if its all set up for a super charger why dosnt it have one? if its because the last one killed the motor, then obviously its not set up properly...

I'm sure if someone was to spend the coin and the time on it and have it turbo'd or supercharged then yes, it would sell, probably for a good price but if it was me i would be looking to get it very very cheap, spend as little as possible and just flick it off again, or be prepared to sink a pile of cash into it to make it a nice street car. And then you would need to keep it for a while to get value out of it.

huge market for vl/vlt's yes, but not when they are as individually modified as this one. just reading through this thread shows how different people view it.

how much is the stroker au for sale for?

its for sale for $14.500 now.
thats without the wheels tho as i dont want to get rid of them.
some may say this is to much but stock ones are around the 9-10 with more k's so i think its worth that.
