My Dad let me take his BA XR8 out on the skidpan last friday night, Bipolar got some video of the result.

I reckon the car sounds fucken horn, thought some of you might also enjoy the noise

It has a set of 4 into 1 extractors and twin system, diameter unknown. It's not that quick but first gear is well suited to the size of the pan and it makes all the right noises

sounds tough as mate, my mechanic has a ba xr8 ute there at the moment getting a new diff

has a herror exhaust system, 4 into 1 extractors with a twin 2.5 inch to the diff, then it joins to a single 3 inch out the back

No lol. Not even close. It sounds tuff as but it's painfully slow and the driving position sucks compared to my car.

Its an XR8.... therefore its a BOSS

I see, I thought only the boss 260, 290 and 302 got the boss engine while a standard XR8 only got a 3V....

XR8 has always had a boss.
If its a V8 without a bulge, its a 3v.

Sounds good what ever it is

"Boss" motors in:
Boss 260 - all BA/BF XR8s
Boss 290 - most BA/BF FPV, now in FG FPV
Boss 302 - towards the end of BFII FPV (also the Cobra or whatever)
Boss 315 - FG FPV

The 3V was never used in XR8 or by FPV.

And they should all have come with PD blowers from factory!
