My Fairmont currently has ACT Plates.
Only a few months left.
Do i need a roadworthy cert from vicroads.
how much does this cost?
If i put 12 months vic rego on it now will i get anything back from my act rego?
I need a quicksale on my car if anyone is interested.

im buying a nsw car today and i can tell you ya cant transfer rego. you can cash ya act rego in and get what evers left on that back.
then when you sell it. write on a bit of paper the engine number vin number your details how much ya selling it for and your signature and the purchasers signature.
the person then needs to take that and a vic rwc to vicroads. (book in)
and they will come out and check the numbers are right and will have to pay a years rego, stamp duty, new plates and various fees.

$4.5 with no rego or rwc and wanting a quick sale might be pushing it a bit bud.

Stock EL mont with a bit of damage + no rego, I'd say more like $3k if the rest if the car is mint with no mech problems.
