Boosted Falcon

ok... at the start of yr i purchased a turbo manifold (log) off e-bay... from someone (ozpsiperforamnce) and in the middle of the ebay page it had -Boosted Roo- and after i installed the manifold....
approx 4hrs driving (normal) the manifold cracked...i sent it back and they reapired it and sent it back out to me...
at this stg i was getting the XTC ems From Nick installed... (manifold was put bac on) nick stated car up and after a few start ups later it cracked again, then nick took it back out and welded the cracked up... put it back on and what now the head flage was FU%ked...was leaking from cyl 6 so i got nick to do a quick road tune for the ecu and drove it home.
i pulled it off and sent the manifold and they said we are awaiting for the new 12mm head plate and its been over 1.5 months and no new and they will not answer phone call...and they have not sent my manifold back....

so i was told that Ozpsiperofrmance+ Boosted Roo= Snort perforamnce? so i really dont kno what to do and ideas?

You'd have to be pretty pissed about that!

I don't know the answer to your question, but out of interest what material was the manifold made out of?

s/steel steam pipe...

and for me to get a new manifold(tuned length) i will need to mdify the 4" dump, oil return, cooler piping for the turbo.....and it should cost me $2000

Can't really comment on the rest, but I'm pretty sure that Boosted Roo are Snort. Maybe try giving Snort a call.

yeah I think you some how need to get Geoffs mobile number. I know he used to post it up a lot on http://www.fordforums.com but that was years ago, everything I have read about people dealing with Geoff personally have been positive. he is the guy that started snort performance.

From what i have heard boosted roo isn't snort, their kits are copied off an earlier snort design but have nothing to do with them. Could be completely wrong though.

Yeay finally got the manifold....so i did my best with the porting.. on the manifold exhaust ports which is now complete and i also did some porting on the turbo housing flange, which came out great... so tomorrow ill go get the Au steel gasket, some high temp paint and then bolt it all up and drive it to XTC and get a good tune....so friday should be done...

im gonna push it so its all done by tomorrow arvo and i want it at nick shop by weds and him to tune it in 2-3 days.....also iv got to go to VPW and get a new Muffler....and get that installed as well before nick gets the car...
