Jarryd's first car EBII with heap of pics

Postby jarryd » July 2nd, 2009, 6:57 pm

Hey guys how ya going, I'm Jarryd... from Ipswich (lol i know). I'm 18, 19 in October and I work part time doing a traineeship for a cert 3 in business adminstration (i still love geting dirty mucking around with cars even if i dont know jack still yet..but it helps my old man was a mecahnic for 17 years :D) anyway.. yeah just I've only really been looking on and around this site for a while now, decided i'd actually have some input now :P

Sooo it's only a first car.. but i love it :P Got it about 12 months ago it's a EBII 5 speed with stock snowflakes on

Only mods to far is a dodgey Pod Filter, and a Catback exhaust which if i don't say so myself, sounds pretty damn good without being overly loud :) with a nice chrome tip. Some audio - 2x 12 inch kicker comps subs, replaced original 4 speakers with 6" Pioneers, Sony Head Deck and a 1500watt Cadence amp.

But i'm currently sourcing parts for a BBM conversion over the next few weeks.

The body isn't 100%... when i got it the passenger side rear fender was fuct from previous owner running into a fence, and the driverside boot has been kicked in.. not once.. but twice by fvcking stupid neighbours. Other than that.. just the usual bumper scrape and small chips/scratches here and there.

These piccys the car has just been freshly buffed after waxing with my pro buff disk on a power drill combo :D haha anyway heres the pics

Subs :D man they get loud!
Image

Love how shiney i got that back trim
Image

Wheels nice 15" Snowflakes.. only a little bit of gutter rash.. but man they are the shiny-est snowflakes you'll ever see i scrubbed them for hours lol
Image

Nice shot i like of the front
Image

Rear end with nice chrome tip
Image

VERY tidy interior complete with fire extinguisher
Image

Engine bay.. nothing spectacular but its not too grubby. Could do with a clean and hide some wires etc
Image

Genuine 127 thousand k's
Image

Ride hide.. not sure what springs Dad put on it, but he cut them anyway lol so yea nice and low
Image

Image

And finally the main damage i need fixed professionally at a paint & panel shop when i get the money
Image

This shot you can really see how warped the metal is.. i REALLY shouldn't have tried to pop it out myself both times lol :( ended up making it worse
Image

Anyway cheers for checking my thread out!
