Thought i'd post up an intro after lurking around for a few days, i drive a '96 EF Mont that i bought 3ish months ago. The car's a bit rough due to being driven from Geelong to Sydney a few times, but other than stone chips it's not tooooo bad, oh yeh and the last owner fucked the rear quarter. One of my lifters is fucked so that's tapping away...but that's not a problem as i have a new engine waiting to go in once a source a few more parts.
The new engine has port and polished XR head, Crescent Motorsport Stage 3 cam/Crow double valve springs with a 69mm throttle body. I also have some pacemaker extractors and a Redback 2.5" sports system with high flow cat. Whilst the engine is being put in i'll be slapping in a t5 and 3.45 LSD.
This setup was putting out 155ish rwkw in a different car with stock ECU, i plan on going J3/Microtech + bigger injectors in the chase for 170... after which i'll be saving for some forced induction.
Seeing as it's dark outside i can't go and get a decent pic, although i did find some average ones on my iphone so i guess they'll do!
P.S I'm not very 'mechanicaly aware' so excuse me if i don't understand wtf you're talking about, i do however read a lot on forums to try and understand more.
