I'm from Hervey Bay and get my Learners in December so I'm hopeing to get an EB/ED next year and get it ready for my P-Plate car  . I hope I dont ask too many silly questions. Thanks for letting me be part of this community :drinks2: .

Also, when I was signing up I seem to have forgoten to capitalise the T's in my username so if a mod/admin could capitalise the 2 T's in my name I would really appreciate it.
Thanks, TT

Off to a good start :)

EFFalcon can help out with your username.

Got any ideas overall for what you'd like to do with an EB/ED?

Commando, I'll probably starts off with a base model and put a set of black BF GHIA seats in it, XR front and a few basic mods and when I get my opens I'll do a turbo DOHC conversion and aim for around 400-450rwkw but would probably settle for around 350rwkw. I'll PM effalcon about the username.
Thanks, TT

Save the $$$$ and read a shit-ton of threads on here, & you'll do great. There's a long time between your L's & your opens.

But wouldn't a barra motor be more reliable/easier to make power with?

Depends on lots of things - what you're starting with, what your ultimate goal is, how handy you are with electrical and mechanical stuff, and how much money and time you have, etc.

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

Well I'd say im pretty good with Electrical and Mechanical stuff and will have a few years to get the barra motor right in my test mule but money will be limited.

Thanks, BBQburner's build thread seams to have most of the info I'm after (I've almost finished reading it). And as I've said, I have heaps of time to learn from the many great build threads :) .

I went back until he said about buying his DOHC motor (page 9 I think) and started reading. He was pretty inventive with the brackets for the PS pump and AC compressor.
