Hey guys, thought i'd say g'day and introduce myself.
I'm Steve, i live and breath cars and own 2 e-series, an EL2 Futura and my newly aquired EB2 Ghia.
The EL (wifes car) is very tidy, regency red on ssl's with csa alloys, LPG and 180K's.
The EB is a little gem and is going to be my first attempt at a turbo build but in sleeper trim (Which is why i'm here, to learn from the guru's).
It is a Feb 93 build in Cardinal red(favourite color along with Cobalt) full leather trim, tint, premium sound, factory wheels etc. etc.
It's done 280k's but has been kept in perfect order with the only exception being the paint on the top of the right rear gaurd and a slight rip in the drivers seat bolster, it even has the air intake snorkel for the battery still inplace lol.
I've spoken to a friend who does paint work and he's gonna respray it for me one weekend over a case of Beam, just a light rub and blow over as the panels are perfect. Started removing the peeling chrome tape from the side moulds today, gonna leave em grey for now.
Enough of that, i'll get up a project thread as it starts to happen.
Previous rides include EF/L Fairmonts, ED ghia, EF XR8 OPT20, numerous EA's, BA XT and a few X-series.
