Boosted Falcon

Hey everyone, i have just signed up to the forum just now as i have finally purchased my pride and joy e-series falcon. I have been interested in your forum for a bit now off a mates account but have now registered one for me and my new car . Its good to be on board,
Introducing my 3.9L EA Falcon S 89 model purchased only last Tuesday from a private sale just over an hour away from home (got a great deal on it too!). The car was well taken care of apart from the paint (motor in A1 condition, rebuilt motor & gearbox) from the previous 2 owners, which is a bit faded on bonnet and a little bit on roof as you would expect from its age. Anyways here it is...










Mods and features include:
2 1/2 inch sports exhaust (catback) 3" canon (not really into the canon but will leave it on in the meantime, still sounds awesome)
K&N Filter
Eagle silicon ignition leads
Professionally lowered 2" on pedders
15" silver 'S' wheels with low profile Goodyears.
slightly tinted taillights and indicators
Tinted windows
Electric sunroof
Factory LSD
Recently rebuilt T5 gearbox with GT boot and monza knob
Custom Tickford dials
VDO-Daytona Headunit (haven't heard of the brand before but it puts out some decent sound and dB
Pioneer 6x9's in rear
and thats all i can think of atm...

In the very near Future:
the indicators fit in with my town (bogan) so im replacing them with clear ones and a set of XR6 twinlights may follow.
Paceys & hi flow cat
XR8 bonnet bulge
mild race cam
18" or 19" wheels (not sure what sort a bit difficult to find pre-au offset wheels these days)
probably a respray in Silver orBlue later on..

very nice car mate change the indicators to the clear ones and get rif of that cannon on the back n it will look sweet, jelous i dont have a sunroof

yeah mate i ordered some clear indicators of ebay should be here this week sometime
love the sunroof lol and yeah im taking my car into the mechanics when it gets a service in a fortnights time whilst getting a custom exhaust redone with a 3" dump tip and give the canon a boot

thats the way best mod that you can do is put the cannon where it belongs in a dumster or rice burner.

the canon makes it sound droney but the sounds pretty decent though.

looks tidy losing the connon is the best mod ever who do people put connons on falcons ? its like huge arse tacho in autos ?

i have painted the red pinstripe to a pearl white/silver colour looks better than the red i reckon.

With a bit of TLC this thing will go nice as. That canon isnt as bad as some of the ones poeple put on them atleast yours is hidden away sorta. Nice pick Up Mate. Welcome.

Yeah, shes my 1st car and i take care of it very good. No one actually seems to notice the canon, and from a distance at the rear angle it just looks like a monstrous 3" tip. Its goin in for its service and repairs on Monday and everything should be goin sweet by then. My moto is up for sale on ebay which will give me a few grand to go towards the car and make it alot better! I have just put mettalic silver pinstripes to replace the old looking red one.
