Hey guys pretty new to the site, sold my XR Turbo bout 12 months ago cause i'm lookin to by a house and bought the EL as a clean run around whilst saying in a ford.

So far just done the lights, lowered it took all the stickers and shit off and did a bit of painting the interior, got a red led dash kit on the way to go with the head unit then a tint and im pretty much done.

Thanks for the replys guys.

To me it's not really a step back as the XR had to go anyway. It had a 5 speed manual which tend to break as soon as you wind the boost up meaning 6k to upgrade to a 6 speed, that and the series 1 Ba Turbos arn't the best base car for big power.

I'm pretty keen on getting a house and hopefully another T soon after but this time it will be an late 06 BF ZF

No GFB's for the El maybe just an exhaust for a better note (any cheap recomendations) a tint and maybe some rims although i'm starting to like the slammed on stockies look.

Oh do you guys have stickers or anything??

They are the best pics of an e series i've ever seen, i take my hat off to the photographer :) looks nice and clean.
Stickers are available as well as shirts and jumpers, do a search.

........ After owning several.... more than I care to admit I have come to the conclusion that E series are shit.

Thanks mate.

Gotta finish the suspension too soon, turns out you can't really drop it on ultras and supers and leave the stock springs in.

Got the LEDs for the dash the other day, now just gotta find a write up on puttin them in, then gotta spend some time over crissy pulling the car apart and soundproof/fix rattles and squeaks.

Old cars, it never ends...

Hey guys looking at upgrading cars early next year just wondering if it's worth trading the el in for a k or two or seeing if anyone want’s it?
Would be good second car for parts or just a clean A to B'er.

List of stuff I have put on that is only 12 months old:

Ultra and Super low king springs

Shortened Monroe GT shocks

Cheap stereo consisting of small amp with 12inch sub, upgraded rear speakers to Fusions and a Sony head unit. Probably under 1k all up.

Major Service, new plugs, air filter, fuel filter, oil filter yada yada

Gearbox service with new filter

New disks and pads all round

New Radiator

New cat back exhaust with rear muffler removed and bigger tip

New bridgestones including alloy spare

As you can see the gear I’ve put on is worth more than it’s trade in value so wondering if it's worth trying to unload privately. Do you think I could get at least 4 for it?

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.
