i reckon rims in a similar style to jet xr's would finish of the exterior perfectly, or fr's...

i love the kit, thats what i thought about putting on my ghia, i just dont wanna deal with the seller lol

black engine bay/bonnet with mirrors makes some good contrasts too, good look.

G'day

re: rims, Jet XR's rims suit that car but to me they look a bit big and um "blingy" for the gold car, if you know what I mean? I do have my eyes on three diffrent rims I am considering but not in any rush though the next ones will have a bit of a polished lip.

re: bodykit, I know what you mean about the seller and talking from my personal point of view I would imagine it must be easier to deal with him in person rather then try to do it from interstate over the phone.

re: the interior, it is pretty neat now and I'm rather content with it after changing the factor cloth seats that were in it and getting rid of the monster cop bait tacho, I do have a set of Porche 911 seats that have been sitting around for over a year so one day they might get trimmed to match and fitted in.

Below are a couple of interior shots, next shoot I will get some better ones.

cant believe the guy who built it went to that much effort with the door trims, got them looking all mint like that but didnt do an electric window conversion?

im not normally a fan of colour coded interiors but it certainly suits this.

interior looks like its starting to come together... not a huge fan of the typhoon style kit, I prefer the factory look but
impressive nevertheless...

Yeah the winder handles are kind of strange, it doesn't cost much to get electric but I kind of like having the manual windows for a couple of reason the first being e-series have a bad habbit of the windows not going up right (sort of like the e-series version of the x-series outer door handles lol) but also it's a reminder of just how stock the car once was.

gold stiching on the seats, or some inserts would be sweet :D

At least it has the leather now, not the GLi seats it used to :P

Seats with inserts sort of like that orange/white EB couple would be good. Subtle and standout :)

G'day

re seats: I see I'm not the only one who thought that way lol

This pic might show the stitching (which is close to a gold color) a bit better and I did get inserts but they some how managed to put the wrong color in  the inserts should have matched the door inserts which is what I ordered but they are a darker grey then the main section instead, one day the seats will be right.

Oh also had the lay down buttons on the rear seat hiden at the same time for a smoother look.

Yeah they sure are, they were done before the bodykit when I was still keeping it that sort of twist on the factory look, if the inserts had have been the correct color they would have looked very effective for what I was aiming for. That being said though they still look good in my opinion.

I'm trying to keep the car diffrent from most while maintaing what could be considered a factory idea/look, and I am not looking to get the "racer" look so it's a fine line to try and walk lol

G'day

The reason I went the colors I did for the seats is because they were colors already used in the interior so yeah, round two will see the dark inserts put in but I have a few other ideas before the seats get redone.
