SHY4D is no longer the NC Fairlane....Now its an EFII Fairmont Ghia!

plates aren't on yet, but meh.....Anyways plans are to tranfer everything from the Fairlane, includes sterio, motor and box, diff. I also want to tint the mould indicators, spray the calipers silver and add my aaaaahhhhhhoooooggggaaaaahhhh air horn

So far, ive put the springs from the Lane into the monty and slapped my 18s on.....

Now it looks like this.......

LOL!

Well, there wont be a diff swap....i ignored the diff whining in the lane, gave the car a bit of shit and bang, clunk, smoke, smell....there goes the diff. i think ive pretty much chewed the teeth.no dramas though, i'll just get the stock one rebuilt, tightened, i think the 3.45s would be enough anyway.

Plus, the motors should hopefully be swapped this week :)

it slips into LHM sometimes if you flog it off the line, no skids either, put it in first, nothing, just screams, other than that it aint too bad. but apparently it shouldnt do it with the ef el ecus. so im trying another ecu tomorrow and see how it goes.

Theres a bloke on fordmods, "66coupe" I think, from shiftkits.com.au that can do some tricky thing to stop them going into limp mode.

Found a link.
