Just A DIY man

Postby HomeBuiltEL » April 8th, 2010, 11:46 pm

Hey all. Im a converted ford man coming over from the dark side (holden) after blowing a few up. Now on my second EL im a diehard ford supporter.

I own a warmed over EL Fairmont that i have been building myself with the help of some mates. Work is slow as its also my daliy and i have a kid to think about as wel.
It Runs a 4L auto on gas with a massive 111.6 rwkw with 300'000 very hard k's. It has had a much freasher motor put in since the last dyno run and im just waitin on a new cam to go in b4 i run it again.
Mods to date:
Small wade cam, broke the big 1 and waiting to replace again.
Gutted intake pipe for more flow.
K & N hi-flow air filter.
Jim Mock 1 1/2" extractors.
2 1/2" cat back exhaust.
Up dated sound system with 12" sub.
18" Typhoon wheels.
Super low springs.
and half finished trims in black and silver. Soon 2b finished.

I still have much to do as i want this car 2b awsome and built by me.
Currently off the road getting a new motor put together, complete with bigger cam, portted head, over sized valves, manual convertion with lightened fly and aftermarket computer. Should have a bit of poke.
12" 1500watt Kenwood sub, pioneer head unit and 1000watt mono block amp.
Currently doing my Interior, Looks trick as.
All This was done by me.

Dorifto machine: KE70 wagon. Stock grandpa machine with a 4age and suspention package sittin in the shed.
