its a diffrent yellow to tha taxi coz i had that looked at and it has shit all ks

EA Taxi's were never yellow, they didnt bring in the yellow taxi's in untill late 94 IIRC.

Hate the colour and i suggest a re-spray and alot more work done to make it look good but end off the day mate its a ea and not even on gas and there worth more at the wreckers. But if you like it thats all that counts and if its a family car and stock i can understand that too but honestly i wouldn't expect to many nice comments.

Re-spray would give it more justice and maybe a can job or a cheap home job anything beats the taxi yellow.
Eb fairmont back lights look ok now ditch the side rear vents for non vented trims and replace the orange front lenses for clear ones.

dump it too.

Or if you cant be f**k**d then fix it and sell it and buy a newer safer car for a family car and maybe even something on gas because fords drink alot.

I've definatly bought stupider shit for $50. but not too much stupider.

I'm with snyper, driveline conversion, suspension conversion, interior conversion and while your at it get another shell with less rust.

Just dump it and polish it, slap either mint Snowflakes or EF stockies on it..

Get a loan. Buy a decent, safe & reliable car if you really do have a child. That thing looks like a death trap.

Ok mate what there getting at is its a un safe car to put a child in and as much as you want another vl turbo or a vh or vk like you mentioned five posts earlier save your money and buy something with atleast abs like a Ed or Ef or El or upwards or a Vr-Vs acclaim or berlina or anything like that with abs,airbag,duel airbags,irs that have a much better safety rating then a ea which is known to handle s**t and blow up head gaskets and blow up there motors and that thing isn't something worth putting money into. Plus they guzzle.

If you don't like vs's then vt-ve or au to fg but anything is safer then that car.

If you take it to northstar or smorgon steel they will give you $300 for it then save abit more and you can buy a eb fairmont or a ed for $1000 to $1500 on Ebay or trading post or off someone on here.

Remember rwc cost a fair bit and rego and stamp duty and tac fee and all that adds up and if for example that thing does a head or headgasket what are you going to do with it then ?

Your best bet would be to get rid of it. You only got it for $50 someone might give $200 for it. I bought an EA GL few years back for $100 and sold it on ebay for $214. Win Win.

yea hav a point but i want this ea as a project thats y i got it my gf has a vx that i drive time to time and i like ea to ed only fords i like but yea i might try get a eb ed shell later on but

Tug Boat? Mate, Dylans EB was scmick, his XR6T was the same, his T-Bird will be killer when its finished and his daily AUXR8 is pretty mint too. Not sure which "Tug Boat" your talking about?

Do it justice though and re-spray it and dump it atleast and if it has a peice off s**t 3.9 cfi ditch it and drop in a 4.0litre motor.

i was gona leave it that yellow but polish it and drop it on black stockies and tint the tail lights and boot garnish paint a few things white inside and do a mdf fulse wall in the boot to run two 12inch subs and a fulse floor to hide amps and put a 4.0 in it with pod filter and extracters wat u guys think
