Gday another new guy

Gday all my name is thom, i have a ef gli thats lowered on lovells with el gts and will get extractors, intake and all that stuff of my previous car, which was a xh ute with a engine i built my self using a au short ef xr6 head ea cam and a bbm, untuned it made 140 rwkw nat asp, but last week on the way to work i wrote it off so i bought a ef for $500 and am about to register it then all of the good gear of my ute will eventually make its way on there

yeah the xh was a good car but it will be reincarnated through the ef, im even contemplating putting the 5 speed out of my ute into it too

as sexyr6 said, 'tis a shame about your ute. It's surprising how cheap you can get late model e-series for nowadays... got mine for $250.

Do you need to do a lot to the EF for roady?

the ef needed a front indicator, a set of tyres, front brakes, a little rust repair in one sill and a taillight globe, and the only thing i didn't get out of my ute was the rust repair

it was original being built to p plater spec, but i turn 21 in august so the 4.0l was ditched in favor of the 5.0l
