Hi All, poomba here, was a member on Ford Forums with e-series, then travelled round the place, only realising we have moved here!
for those that don't know me, i drive heratige green EF (for sale at the moment). aspirated with a few mods
i have built a twin turbo EA - was popular on the old forum, mainly cause not many people believed it until i put pics up
my head gasket count, with my old EA and the twin turbs EA is at about 5.
also ride a VTR 1000 Firestorm for a good thrill.
i am a mech engineer and work for a major oil company designing fuel systems for aircraft.
must admit, there are a fair few new names since i was a member but some (sundeep, Kenaz, and so on) still ring a bell.
cheers all!

hey mate, remember that name, as i look through i am finding more and more.
TTEA got sold. pity really, was such a goer. some kids brought it and smashed it up in a week - i blame the minispool
Specs were:
T-T 4.0 NC motor
Custom cam
gas injection
decomped head and pistons
mandrel tuned manifold,
Twin T3/T4's pushing stage 1:6psi, stage 2:12psi, stage 3:18psi
(stage 3 was after some bottom end worked and the decomp.)
externally gated
massive cooler
beefed up T5. big diff with low 3.08's and a minispool.
the list goes on a fair bit...
the 3 best things it got were -
decomped head
gas injection
3.08's: used to be 3.45's, but once i put the 3.08's in it, the turbos came on boost harder in 1st and 2nd gear. Third gear was uncontrollable. turbos work harder under load and by crikey they were right. 1/4 times increased by 0.4 seconds, just by putting in crappy gears that noone wants!

can't remember if it was on ebay or not, it was everywhere, so if you were looking at or around fords, you probably would have seen it.
The ea was great. car itself was brought from fowles for $500, all the gear in it was about $15K+
times varied, mostly due to the fact it was continuously changing. it wasn't really until it got some 3.08's and semi's that it started pulling descent times. runs seemed to top about the 12 second pass mark, would of run better, but had waste gate issues on the day.... problem is, the chassis all started to bend and twist, by the end the thing was as loose as a shag and wouldn't track straight. pulled like crazy tho - munched about 14 axles, 3 diffs and 2 gearboxes before it held together...
