Picked up my 98 EL Futura (Sapphire) in 2008 just as I was finishing year 12, it was and still is my pride and joy.
Being my first car it has been the template for teaching me the basics about engines and all.
Done a few mods here and there with lots of help from the old man who taught me basically everything I know now.
The car at the moment has:
- Extractors, Exhaust, High Flow Cat, Wade Cam, 3.45 LSD, Auto Shift Kit, 8thou off head +/- (when the gasket went)
- 18" Typhoons (pre-au), SL (front) + SSL (rear)
- Sony Head Unit, Sony 6" (front), Clarion 6x9 (rear), 8" sub (parcel shelf), Sony 12" (boot), Clarion 4ch 400w + Some cheap 4ch 400w amp.
Future plans:
- Whiteline sway bars, upgrade bushings, reco injectors, 300kpa regulator, j3 with tune and 7" double din headunit.
When I first picked up the car
So took off the driver's window shield and got it lowered
So to cut a long 2 years short the car went from that to this
Then to it's current state now
I will start a build thread soon documenting what else happened in those two years and anything else really, I plan on having this car for a good few more years and being a uni student I cant really afford to upgrade parts as fast as id like to.
