Hey all I think its about to introduce myself. My names Scott and im a 3rd year apprentice from Horsham in Vic. I have been looking on the website for a few months now and loving the fact that its full of like minded car nuts lol. So thought I would share some pics and some details of my car. So basically i brought the c ar about 3 years ago for my first car. I got it for $800. The EB was auto and had a 3.9L certerpoint, but only had 154,00km. There were a few problems as the motor hadn't seen regular servicing and the mains were rooted. But after many hours work I have fixed it and I now use it every day as it is my daily diver. I am pretty happy how I have the car at the moment so will be buying another car (thinking a EF XR6) and adding a turbo. As after looking around on the site im pretty keen on this idea lol So without any further crapping on here is my car.......

1991 Stark White EB (Series 1) Ford Falcon station wagon.

Engine mods:- 3.9L block, Ported 3.9L head (Shaved 40th, 3 angle valve grind, match ported, swirl pot on chamber deleted, etc), Crow billet cam, Crow heavy duty valve springs, ACL race series bearings, Rollmaster timing chain set ( guides, tensioner etc), New seals and gakets all round, BBM coversion, SS inductions cold air intake, 3in air induction pipe, hi-tech headers, 2 1/2in mandrel bent exhaust with one sports muffler, EF thermo fans, 300KPA fuel regulator, J3 chip (EL XR6 program) and wideband oxygen sensor.

Driveline:- T5 manual conversion, XR6 clutch, 3.27 diff gears, full spool, king spring ultra lows (front), 3in lowering blocks (rear), KONI shocks all round, K-Mac caster camber kit, Superpro bushes all round, 16in Ford FTR wheels.

Interior:- S-pack instrument cluster, new dash (without cracks), new trim pieces to replace ones that were broken. Basically I have just tries to restore it to stock lol.

Exterior:- Body coloured bumpers, deleted door mouldings, deleted side repeter (EA spec), rust removal RHS dogleg.

Sterio: Kenwood head unit, Kenwood 6in front spekers, Fusion 6in rear speakers, Clarion 12in sub, Clarion pro 2 channel amp.

So that basically an overview of my wagon LOL. I have a few more things i would like to fo to it such as 3.45 diff gears, reset leaf springs, a propper tune on the J3, a better 4.0lt head (which will be ported better that my current :P ) and a bit more of a tidy up. Thanks for looking. Cheers :D

To be honest its got a few little dents here and there (shopping trolly/ carpark) but overall its not bad man, the worst is the rear right hand quater. At the local burnout comp and blew the RHS tire first and it had taken a bit of paint off the quater lol But will get it sprayed ASAP, just waiting on some more funds. Apprentice wages aren't the best. But thanks for your comment

Nice and clean wagon.

What's that thing I see that says "LEAN"? haha

I have a 2J2 controller and a wideband oygen sensor so I can tune and trim the fuel maps on my car. The display that reads lean is just telling me what the oxgen sensor is saying. This is so I can see how it runs. As the car is turned off it was reading lean lol. You get the product off the T.i performance website, got it with the J3. And thatnks man its not to bad for a daily :drinks2:

Cheers pHaT' eL. She not to bad ;) LOL So anyway decided to go to the murry for new years eve and fark it was hot.........So while driving up there with the car fully loaded I ripped the exhaust off through some big bumps ha ha ha. So to say that the rest of the trip was very loud would be an understatement. Ill post some pics up when I get it on the hoist. Also I got my hands on a 3.45 gearset a couple of days ago. So I will save up and get some bearings for a rebuild, of the diff

Yeah reset leaf springs will help, if you really want to fix it though maybe try getting some tramp bars made up?

Also might have something to do with the tailshaft? Could be wrong there, but i seem to remember reading something like that.

Went to the local repco store and got a price on some new King spring reset leaves. Super lows will cost me $350 so looking at getting them soon, when the funds allow. :D These should lower the car by bout 50mm, but my question is what size blocks should I add to it, as I have 3in block at the moment which is rougly 76mm. So should I buy 1.5in blocks??? Just trying to reduce the axle tramp, so does this sound like a decent combo or not???

Mines about the same as that with reset leafs and 2" blocks.

Pedders will reset your leafs for $250 if you want a cheaper alternative.
