Hi I'm Dan and these are my cars

Hi, my name is Dan, I have been on for a while, but have been a bit slack on the intro side of things...cbfs get the better of me sometimes.
I have had a few cars over my time, mainly Fords, although I started with an old 84 Volvo 240GL sedan.
When that gave up the ghost, I was without a car for a few months. Off chance my old man called me and said that a friend with a car yard (Jim Cree) had a nice EB Fairmont in there, so I went down with the then missus to check it out.
On first look, it was a clean 12/91 Cardinal Red EBI Fairmont, 4.0l 4spd auto, sitting on turbo blades...at std 4wd height, and was very clean inside for a smokers car (only knew cos the ashtray was chock full of butts).

It later got a full set of custom seat covers (black with Ford logos), a set of 17in SSA StoneStars, superlow king springs, colour coded rocker cover, APV Grille, 2.5in cat back, K&N panel filter and clear front indicators was about the list of mods done to it aside from the headunit.
That was stolen on Melbourne Cup Day in 06 or 07.
After that I drove my old mans XF S Pack Wagon for ages...the only XF S Pack without power steering. Then I was at a mates panel shop in Bayswater and Alan from Falcon Stuff come round and asked all of us there if anyone was interested in an ED manual Sedan. I instantly said I wanted to have a look, so we walked over to his factory and thats where it was sitting, running with only a broken pedal box, an ex-courier car.

After some time I had the SVOs I had sitting at home fixed and put on the car along with clear front indicators, EVO 5 front bar, king spring lows, 3in stainless intake in front or the airbox, 2.5in cat back system, altezza taillights (which my boss took great pleasure in making fun of me having 'broken taillights' - kind of funny cos I worked at Burson's on Canterbury Rd. I later got a Pioneer headunit & Sub w/box and amp to run it. This car shit the head gasket with about 1 month of reg to go, so it ended up being my drunk driveway burnout car.
After a while of driving the missus' N13 a mate was selling his XF. I went round and had a look, it had been sitting for about 8 months, and still started first kick.

It was pretty good, had some work dome to it. 60th overbore 250 x-flow, head work, stage 2 racing cam, Redline Torker manifold w/Holley 350 2 barrel on it, extractors & full 2.5in system (no cat) 3in tip, single rail 4 speed, 9in with 2.77 gears & straight gas. And it was quick.
I eventually sold it to a mate in Shepp, and it got canaried the night it ran out of reg because it was SpingNats weekend.
While I still had the XF, I was walking past a local car yard on a Friday night and saw an XH ute...and I was really interested in it cos it looked like it was pretty much everything I wanted in a ute. I had a closer look on Monday morning, and took it for a test drive.

It was 99 XH 4.0l T5, 5 poster, rollbars, tonneau, skirts & spats, it was reasonably low KM when I got it too. After a few months, the head gasket went, so I got the worked head off the ED (was worked after the 4.0 died) new timing char & gear, wade 977b, AU head gasket, water pump, harmonic balancer amongst other things. I had the rear leafs reset 2.75in lower, put a set of BA XR8 copies on. I loved it, but had to give it back to the ex (we split after we bought it together) as it was in her name, and she did some stupid shit that was costing me $2k a year in insurance.
Then it comes back to the ED and now getting a V8 for it. But that's another story.
