hey all,

names luke, eighteen years old, green [P Plater], apprentice mechanic 2nd year, from Newcastle NSW!

A year and a half ago i bought a 93' EB, auto with plans too make it my own, that has all come to an end. A mate and I made the roadtrip too Canberra to look at this 94', ED XR6 Manual i had been watching on car sales for weeks, put 6months rego on the EB the week before going down for a look. Negotiated him from $6,990, to $5000 :D
Still driving both cars around for the time being.

Already got some Pacemaker extractors PH4499, Venom hi-flo cat, so i'll get those fitted plus 2.5'' exhaust, after transferring it too NSW rego.
On the lookout for 18'' or 19'' Pre-Au silver agent rims for it, having my headdeck, speakers and amp taken out of the old car and put into this one, and adding 12'' sub.
Was going to put superlows in the front, ultras in the rear but that wont be for a little while, just gunna drive it and enjoy it :D

Out with the old..

thanks for the great comments :)

been driving the old EB around, but over the weekend lost it around a round about, hit both left side wheels bang on straight on the gutter, cracked a rim, broke LHF wheel bearing again, and bent the axle on that side in the rear tooo. It would not matter if the new car was going, because its not..

Given it a full service, oil, oil filter, K&N Panel air Filter, spark plugs, ignition leads, fuel filter, brake fluid change, brake light switch, high/low beam headlight globes, yet too do gearbox & difff oils. Got a new radiator and header tank to put in, and do a coolant flush/change at the same time.

Driven it around a couple of days and had the LHR wheel come loose, the wheels that are on it have spacers, so i went around and retightened them all.
After driving home last monday, went to move it and it cranked over but will not start! :x

Tested it has good fuel flow, have not tested compression but would not think if it lost compression that it would lose it all of a sudden.. So it has to be an ignition problem.. so new plugs, leads (inc coil lead), coil, distributor cap and still cranking over but not firing up, still no spark.. tomorrow i am going to get a new distributor rotor button and ignition module to whack in, fingers crossed

Got a set of Pacemaker Extractors PH4499, 2.5'' Venom 100 CPSI Highflow Cat, 8-)
on the way a 2.5'' inlet/3.5'' outlet tip, and a 2.5'' Supercat straight through muffler, and a set of new 18'' Dark Agent Silver rims!!

Once i get the car going, i'll get right onto clearing the ABS light on the dash so that i can take it in ASAP for a blueslip, and re-rego it in NSW with custom plates

Will take it out for some picccys too ;-)

pity about the car being bitchy, i had the rotor button go not to long ago on mine, but i imagine u would of spotted that problem when u had the cap off, anyway ride looks sweet, atleast the exterior is basically perfect !
