Ive been trying to build this car since July 2010 it has many parts from ebay including turbo, wastegate, intercooler, bov log manifold was made by some guy in Tasmania intercooler piping and dump pipe i made from 3" mild steel. Cat still stock exhaust is 2.5 redback. For fuel it had lpg ring mixer and for petrol it had Chinese fmu which failed in 1 week. Now CVE installed me tween gas research, bosch 044 vortech fmu and j3 which made huge difference.

At the moment exhaust manifold gasket is leaking and one bolt seized so on tue will take everything of and hopefully will fix the leak thats if manifold isnt bend. Because of leak the car feels a bit leggy.

I think it made 160 with a boost leak and a busted turbo . and that was at 4 or 5 pounds .

This guy lives around cranbourne.

He transfered the battery to the boot and the car wouldnt start.
I remember going out to this because there wasnt anuthing to amplify poeer to the starter.

the leak is fixed the car is lot more responsive now.Took me all week when i had time in between work and weekend, manifold machined and wastegate inlet insert ring was missing. now its sorted

put saas boost gauge as well tells only make 3 pound boost don't know how good those gauges are. I can always put firmer spring will wait till mr cve gets back

Are those gauges accurate ???

but feels lot quicker then when it used to be 160 kw.

battery been fixed, correct wiring more than anything .

When I get back we will sort it :drinks2:

Make sure you wind the boost controller to the lowest setting till I get back. Don't want to kill it just yet !
