I got this for my first car and am slowly building it up to what i want.

Its a march 97 series 2 Xh 1 tonne longreach manual 220xxx
- factory lsd
- tickford front lip spoiler
- tickford side skirts
- classic wheels

I have replaced the bodged motor after the chemiweld stopped working, with a 143xxx el motor complete with BBM. all of the cooling system, front brakes, lower ball joints, big tickford intake snorkel, put a pioneer head unit with 6" speakers in the doors, el xr6 wheels with 225 tyres, darkest legal tint, 2.5" redback exhaust with single muffler and shaved the antenna hole.

Further plans are, get my extractors fitted with a 100 or 200 cell cat
cab extension for a sub, decent speakers and more leg room, a chip to accomodate for the BBM and exhaust and
lowered a bit with xr6 leaves in the rear, wider tyres all round and tint my tail lights.

Looks like a good start there, nice and clean. Definitely need to take some height out of it, I would suggest reset leaves (cost me $440 to get my XH done) and you keep the std springs, being a 1 Tonne ute they have different leaves in them to the normal utes.

Good luck with your build mate.

Thanks for the comments.. I want to get it lowered fairly soon because I need new struts and rear shocks so I'll lower it at the same time and get some fat rubber to fill the guards... But first year apprentice wages don't allow too much to happen too quickly.. Haha.
