iv come on here to see if any one can help me find out more about this car,iv been told it was in service to the queensland detectives in brisbane,im mainly interested in how many of these cars where built,introduction,iv got two kids and the best wife in the world,she helps me collect cars and restore them,she is a fitter and turner by trade so while is stand there breaking a sweet handing her welding rods and watching her work, at the end she gets me a beer from the fridge,no guys she dosent have a sister and shes not for sale,we have compleated an xe ute with a worked 4.1,probably needs a mod plate,this car was bought from a goat farm,it has hail damage the size of goat hoves on it.looks like its going to be a good challenge.i do the mechnical,the head and gear box where reconed it the last 18 months,it has a new radiator,alternator and acc pump,its done 209,000klms so i will need to get into that block,it mite end up with a turbo on it,here is some pics

ok this is how it is,untill i can get either a computer technision or a certificate in (it) the pictoure will not be going on this site,at the moment they have made it to photo bucket and looks like thats where they are going to stay,sorry guys just too dumb to get them to this site

it just looks like an ede gli,the plate has the option 20 on it,needs work as you can see

ha ha, I have an opt 25 (taxi) in the same color.

the outside door trim on this car is grey with a white line,is there a trim in the ed range that has a red line, im thinking of painting it two tone and useing the red line to break up the colors

ended up getting a ed wagon of the same color G5,its a classic gli.all parts have been swaped over and now its a case of fixing the hail damage in the main bodie and roof.
