'94 ef xr6 wagon 5sp in s/e melbourne

new to the forums so i figured id shoot a post about my car
Last month i traded in my sf5 subie forester in on a xr6 wagon i found in a yard in frankston.
its a '94 model in polynesian green with about 240k's on it, so i figured fo r the price and the condition it was in i'd bite the bullet and havent looked back since.
when i first got it had a bit of shit luck as it shit a heater tap and dumped its coolant on the way to work after 3 days of owning it,then in the same week it shit a battery and finally the clutch cable broke (thank **** it was just the cable!) but lately its been pretty good but it still needs a bit of work, like the IAC valve plays up when the motors cold and theres a bit of a thump coming off throttle due to the diff but there just little things that arent urgent yet.
the only mods so far are a 2 1/2 inch exhaust, a set of ftr's and a bit of a stereo.
future mods will include a diff,trans and engine rebuild, with a bit of a cam and some head work, a cai and extractors and maybe some dark agents whilst im on my p's then i plan on a ba xr6t transplant and maybe a 6 sp.
im keen to do a few cruises and shows with the club and will deffinately be at some events in the future
