Hi guys, I'm new to your site after just acquiring a BA GT and would like to say hello and ask for some help... My dilemma is with wheels & tyres... I want to put 245-35-20 inch tyres on these new wheels I bought for the front of my BA, but the tyre shop is giving me grief.. The wheels are normal offset and I'm wondering if many others have had similar issues and could shed some light on this for me... I don't want 225 front tyres like they are suggesting on the front, there just way to narrow... If some others have had similar situations I would appreciate your input... I also have 275-35-20 tyres that I'd like to run on the rear, but I'm getting the same story from the tyre shop, there to wide they say, only 245 on rear..I'm using Malice King Wheels x 8-5inches wide and have 275-35-20 Evo 595 tyres + 245-35-20 Evo 595... Thanks in advance for any information that is provided.......

if you have them on already and they fit. and you just want new tyres.
go to somewhere and say. i want this size tyre. if they wont do it go somewhere else. simple
35 sidewall does sound a bit big though

if you want 245's you have to go 245/30, if you want 35's you'll need to go 225/35. I have 245/30 all round on mine. there is no problem with that.
if you want wide rears i think you can get 275/30-20 on the rear... don't bother with 35's there's no point.

Thanks to all.. I do not have the wheels on it as yet, I only ordered them today and was called about two hours after and advised to use a 225 front tyre and a 245 rear.. I was pretty shocked considering they'd taken a deposit and I told them I wanted to run with a 245 front and may look at something bigger for the rear and they didn't say then that I had only a 225 as my main option for the front... Thanks to all for your information and I'm going to see how the 245 goes and if it fits then I'll use them on the rear... Once again thanks to all....
