i've done a Gas Research GT35/40 conversion on an EB and can assist with any questions you might have, I have a dedicated factory LPG AU ute here also, I can't see anything apart from the tanks being re useable as they just weren't designed to flow real horsepower -

the set up, now fitted to an EF sedan, this is an AU motor (tickford)

I guess my first question is with petrol you have a rising rate fuel reg how does gas cope with the boost.

run a pipe from the pressure pipe after the intercooler to the converters on the top side (GRA modded converters lay over) and as the boost rises in the manifold it also rises to the same degree preventing gas being blown back down the lines.
dyno time to get jetting etc right will also show you the air/fuel ratios etc.

Have a look at the photo, you can see the hose running to the converters.
