hey guys!!!

just thought i would say hey..

the beast i own is a 2005 BA2 XR6 NA sedan with headers and reso for my exhaust and a custom 3inch alloy pipe, pod filter intake with heat shield.. up and coming in a couple months is a custom ecu tune..

currently my car does 15.72 seconds down the quater mile with an R/T of about .66 something or rather..

just wondering who i could use to get a bit more power like a good cam upgrade..

Welcome, chuck a few pics up!

I think the money would be better spent elsewhere besides cams tbh. If anything you should get them before doing the ecu tune

i no i would need cam before the tune.. im just wondering what cam would give best power:money ratio.. i could import some from aussie.. but it would be rather costly for freight and taxes etc etc.. or if someone can give me some type of plan so i can get some made up here in nz..

I think you'd be suprised the power gain you would get from intake / exhaust mods and a decent tune! I imagine a set of cams would be expensive, let alone freight to NZ.
Do Franklins do B/F series Barra cams over there?

there are a few engine builders here building DOHC stock car engines here now, I know of one builder that gets around 350 HP out of them with carby cam etc, would be worth a look at what they run
