The fg has just had its 22,500km service, cars still perfect inside and out, changed to FUCHS engine oils and wow.

30k is next service, lsd and serviceable turbo oil feed line at the same time. Cheers

The bf is booked in to real dyno on the 13th for a proper service and health check. Should be interesting what they find

Bf had a major service at real dyno on friday. Engine, gearbox, diff oils...clutch bled and re filled. intake , exhaust turbo bolts re tourqued, kandn air filter, fuel filter. Run on dyno to check on power and boost all normal apart from power (250hp on mainline) lee says thats the low end of normal..

Suspension and brakes all checked, turbo oil feed filter cleaned, coolant replaced. Throttle body cleaned.

Also diagnosed a slight leak at no6 in the intake gasket which he suspects is causing the rough idle.

Drives amazingly now. Wow what a difference.

Big service. Lee is such a nice bloke. I think the business would of gone ahead a long way with him in charge.

the John Goss Specials are a nice looking car. Not too many are brought out in public any more. XW/XY also had them, the GS is actually a Goss Special, but from memory he had more of a hand in the XB stuff. He obviously loves it enough to keep in like that

The car buble is an excellent idea, dust, moisture and most importantly, verman free. Hes also got a mint condition 78 corvette stingray anniversary addition L82 that he keeps in a bubble too

So I crashed my ute on friday the 19th dec. Was going wayyyy to fast into a round about and it just wouldn't pull up before I had to make the turn. Its in being fixed as we speak.

All fixed and new T17 tint aswell. Man I missed it after driving my dad inlaws shitbox au negleted rat infested work ute.

Think aboriginal paddock basher/b'n's ute. Thats literally his car. And yes there are rats in it. I found 2 carcusses in the air box while I was attempting to make the poor thing run better

So some more bad luck with my ute, the clutch slave has burst its seal on Thursday and the ute became undrivesble.

I stopped in at a local mechanic to get a quote... $818.00 !!! I laughed at him.

I proceeded to source a slave cylinder myself and found an EXEDY branded one for $186.
So up on stands the ute went and and hour later the gearbox was out!
If id of had the part the car would be completely finished and driving already.


In other news, my beautiful partner Brittnee and I are expecting a little dude in july!!

40,000ks service tomorrow, I can't believe it's 2 months off 2 years that we've owned this car. Time goes scary quick.

Still enjoying it, missus is starting to winge about how hard I've got the shocks set(3/4 ish) the more pregnant she becomes. I'll tone them back a few notches each after tomorrow.

The diff makes grinding noises on a hilly take off with the wheel turned, not worrying about it atm.
Still super straight and always very clean and tidy
