Howdy blokes, Firstly thanks for the opportunity to be part of this forum. I hope i can contribute with my knowledge that I accumulated in the last year as a Ford owner, not heaps of knowledge but it's growing!!!
I bought my first Ford in February this year and it was a 1994 ED Falcon. Visually and mechanically in good order but it needed work!
# - Replaced Radiator, thermostat (Highflow)and all cooling hoses, flushed cooling system and refilled cooling system. Bypassed gearbox cooling hoses out of radiator.
# - Replased all 3 belts and tensioner pulley.
# - Replaced leaking Aircon compressor. (Highgates compressor, tx valve, drier and recharged system.)
# - Replaced rocker cover gasket.
# - Replaced powersteering compression line.
# - Replaced all 6 plugs, leads, coil, dizzy( Washed engine bay! Mistake not to be repeated ever again!!!)
Also did a few visual mods.
Sold the ED in july (still in the family)
New addition - 1997 EL Fairmont
Near perfect condition and we'll looked after by senior owner.
