Good start to a project, many wagons have been done before.

Get some 17's and lower suspension. For the handling and looks!

yeah im thinking that, though im not sure what kind of wheels would suit it.
get my brother's old audio stuff (two subs an amp and a cd player not sure what wattage cause its been a while.)

thats all for about now. Im not to knowledgeable on engines though, so what would be a relatively cheap option for a bit more power?

WheelsDirect.com.au are where I got my BA XR8 copies in pre-AU offset, although they took 2 months to get them to me and 2 of them ended up in Perth.

lol... WTF.. how does that happen?? maybe they were just sittin there thinking hmm how can we mess with this guy.. i know lets send 2 of his wheels to perth :D.

but anyway to Jtalor def a good base to start with. with the wheels like bipolar said wheels direct are a good place.. if your wheels dont end up in another state before getting to you :D lol. i was going to get mine from there but changed my mind and my uncle has used them a couple of times and hasnt had any problems. GL with the car look forward to seeing some progress on it whenever you get around to doing things.

Welcome to the club mate. Cheap mods for power would also be a bigger cam. I have a Wade 1673 (977B/1636 mixed grind combination) but thats only good with a manual not auto. If you have auto then go for a wade 1636c and the stuff said above. Pod filters are good for winter but not sure for summer unless its enclosed properly and I haven't noticed much difference in power from it.
