Hey mate, welcome to Boosted!

Sorry if I sounded like a bit of a hardass on the cruise, probably wasn't the best way to introduce myself.

Anyway, love the car overall (although I'm not a big fan of the great big fvckoff vinyls), but not too many members here can view the pics since we're either banned from that section of AFF, or people here simply aren't AFF members (so either way, we can't view the pics)

If you've got them linked up in photobucket or something, we'd be able to check them out if you change the links :)

Cheers

-Dave-

Why the vinyls? Put two white EL XR8's next to each other and they look exsactly the same. Its an individual statement.

Ford Promo chic, of course I want to be one, what a stupid question. LOL

Ok thats fair enough - I get vinyls but i don't get why you have them printed with the model of the car - Its sorta like walking around with a stamp on your forehead that says "im a human being"

A very clean looking example you got there. It'd be good to see some interior shots with all the custom custom custom descriptions

Nice car. I remember seeing this in Oct/Nov this year the friday morning of the Wagga all ford day on the Hume. I was just outside of benella with the five0 behind me pulled over arguing how the EF I was driving was not last registered in 2003 to RAWHIDE dance club in Shepperton and the registration certificate and rego sticker saying "AUG 08" was vaild.

But it looked and sounded nice driving past :)

The other reason for the vinyls is that I enter the car into shows and you need to grab peoples attention and have stuff that isnt particualrly pratical, if you know what I mean.

Wagon's going great, cant fault it yet, its been a handy A-B car. The best part is flying of speed bumps without slowing down, lol, cant do that in the XR.

i'd be worried about it bringing *TOO* much attention.
the new wheels suit it much better then the old chromies you had

Yeah your right, the cops are all over me everytime I take it out, I think I must have been breath-tested "randomly" about three times on the weekend.

Much happier with the COBRA's over the VEREDE's

Are there any plans to warm the motor?
obviously bringing so much attention on itself doens't lend itself to a hi-po motor :P

I'd be compelled to go for a stroker with a stock (or "blinged-yet-stock/legal") looking engine bay if my car was SICAZZ spec on the exterior, there's noooooo way I'd have a blower hanging off the side or an 8 t/b setup, etc.

Yeah for sure, Im undecided, their are two ways I wana go with the motor...

Im either going to "charge" it up, or go all out and drop in a BOSS 290 which leaves the potential of then charging that afterwards.

Yeah I hadn't checked the 'automotive oddness/hillarity/idiocity' thread for a while, went for a flick through the last few pages this morning.

I mostly read the motoring section there for the huge flame wars. Love it when the skyline and commodore fanbois get fired up, especially at each other. It's also a half decent filter for interesting stuff, like new exotic supercars etc.
