Hey guys, my names Nathan i'm 16, have my L's, work fulltime, love fords. Will have my P's in 6months and cant wait.

My mate showed me this site a while ago when I had my XF. Had a scan. Then a few weeks ago I got an EA, so i thought id sign up, and while i play with my girl post pics and what not, and track my progess and perv on your cars aswell :)

Well My girls a 30th anaversary 1990 Ea falcon, straight 6 Fuel injected.

This is what I have & plan on doing to her :)
I cut the stock exhuast out, and put in a 2.5" xforce sports exhuast, with a 5" hotdog. Painted the interior, put a Accell distributor cap, with 8mm sports performance leads. Took out the stock CD player, speakers etc, found the wiring to be completely buggered, so i re-wired it and put in a Kenwood Cd player, 2 6" speakers in both front doors, 2 6" in the back behind the seats, and 2 12" Clanrion Subs in the boot. My friend is doing me a deal, and is getting me a 2004 BA Straight 6 EFI falcon motor, new gearbox and a 9 Inch diff, and installing it for me, I have 2 17" mags on the back, they wouldnt fit on the front, I'm going into town tomorrow to get some rubber for my 2 19" rims, which will go on the back, then buying spacers for the front and whacking the 17s up front, and bending out the guards to bypass the law :) Also gonna lower her 2-3", painting her Jetblack and painting the brake calipers red.

So yeah thats what my plans are, I'll try to keep updating pics,
*note these pics arent that new. :o

Welcome to the site Nathan, your problem with the 17s are they have post-AU offset (which differs to E-Series/X-Series offset, hence why they foul on the front and look weirdly tucked in at the rear). lol @ bending out the guards, sounds fully 80s style! (I may like the result 8-) )

Your friend sounds charitable, what was their end of the bargain though? :P

Not a fan of the painted dash.

Once I put spacers on the front the wheels will stick out of the gaudrs by .75 of an inch, thus making it illegal to register, yet if they are alligned with the guards it's still legal :) and registerable.

I'm giving him an old hq holden :$ he loves them and is going to restore it (it's in bad cond) I'm not very familiar with holdens so no point in me keeping, he's gonna help me with mine, I'll do what I can to help him lol.

to my knowledge spacers are not allowed at all no matter how much they stick in or out.

what state you in mate? got any bigger pics?

How wide are these spacers? You only need like 30mm or so. If they cause the wheels to stick out nearly 20mm beyond the guards, they sound way too wide to start with.

Hopefully he can fit up the BA driveline & 9" diff. Be prepared for a challenge ahead.

The spaces themselves arent too big but when we measured them up they seamed to stick out just under 15mm i think.

He's done it to my brother in laws EB, same engine and diff.

I'm in Newcastle, NSW. I'll upload some more shortly.

Well that seems too big then if they cause the wheels to stick out ~15mm from under the guards. So have you measured the spacers themselves? If so, how wide are they?

What kind of tailshaft was used between the BA gearbox & the 9" diff in your brother-in-law's EB? (who's your brother-in-law? tell him about this site :D)

it was only a quick measurement for the rims, once i get a day off I'm gonna get the right measurements and try get the sizes etc needed for the spacers.

with the tailshaft i think he made it himself becuase the one he tried changing broke on him, not sure i'll find out for you!

my bro-in-laws name is glen he's got a white eb, 2004 Ba straight 6 EFi turbochrged. he doesnt have the net but ill ask him to post some pics =]
